Greg “The Rat” Aldridge is a powerhouse drummer with the cred to back it up. Having played with some of Australia’s top muso’s, from hard-core rock to the subtleties that are “The Blues”, Greg has done it all.
He began his professional career in 1987 with a well known Melbourne rock cover band,
Men without shame and has since toured with a long list of great acts including Jimi Hocking,
one of this county’s premier blues guitarists. In 2004, Greg did numerous runs with Angry Anderson, Matt Taylor and Stuart Wood as part of their sold-out Australian blues club shows.
Greg has been sponsored by Sabian cymbals since 1996 and is often called upon to conduct clinics across the country.
A true musical gypsy, Greg’s experience is the essence of his technique, keeping the Cabin fever tight,
yet creating dynamics at every turn.
